At Hunt Club Boarding Kennel & Cattery, we provide safe, spacious, and welcoming accommodations for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. Whether it’s for a weekend or a long vacation, your pet will enjoy a comfortable stay and plenty of personal attention from our experienced team.

Dog Boarding


Our facility features 113 individual runs for some of the best dogs in Hampton Roads. Inside runs measure 4' × 6', with connected 6' × 12' outdoor spaces for fresh air and exercise.


We welcome all breeds and temperaments, and are proud to be one of the few facilities in the area without temperament restrictions. Human-aggressive dogs must be handled by their owners and cannot be removed from their run by staff except in an emergency.


Every guest receives individualized attention, clean bedding, and a safe environment monitored by our caring team seven days a week.

Cat & Exotic Boarding


Our cattery houses up to 22 feline guests in bright, quiet suites and condos. Cats boarded in condos enjoy more “free roam” time, while our suites offer spacious comfort for longer stays. There is no price difference between suites and condos.


We also welcome exotic pets, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Guests staying in tanks or cages should bring their own setups and any necessary heating pads or lamps.

Add-On Playtime & Walks


Treat your pet to extra attention during their stay with our walk and playtime packages. Walks are 10–15 minutes along our quiet farm road, and playtimes are 30–45 minutes in our fenced-in play yard.

We do not socialize or interact boarding dogs together unless they are from the same family.


Our trained staff members are CPR and first-aid certified, and we provide 24/7 supervision on-site — both managers and two additional staff members live on the property.

Medication & Special Care Fees


  • $1 per pill, liquid, ointment, or spray dose
  • $3 per injection (owner must provide syringes; re-use is prohibited)
  • $5 per bandage change (owner supplies materials)
